Walnut Burfi

Ingredients

  • ½ cup crumbled tofu
  • 1 tbsp sesame butter
  • 4-6 tbsp date paste
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • ½ tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder or cinnamon (dalchini) powder

Method

Coarsely blend all the ingredients together in a blender. Stop when the mixture is still coarse and of an uneven texture. Transfer to a 4″ – 6″ baking tin or glass container. Using the back of a spoon or spatula spread evenly and smooth the top. Garnish with chopped walnuts if preferred. Place in the refrigerator for an hour to set. Once set, cut into squares and serve.

Note

This recipe uses many nuts. Please keep your nut limit in mind if you are working on disease reversal.
