Tropical Fruit Crumble

  • 1 small pineapple (around 8-9 thin slices), finely chopped
  • 2 medium-sized ripe mangoes, cubed
  • 2 bananas, cubed
  • ¼ cup raisins (optional)
  • Lime juice to taste
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder

For the Crust

  • 6 tbsp ground almonds
  • 8 tbsp ground dry dates (kharek powder)
  • 5 tbsp grated dry coconut/desiccated coconut
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder


Preheat the oven at 200 ºC for 20 minutes. Mix all the fruits together with ¼ tsp cinnamon powder and lemon juice to taste. Mix the ingredients for the crust thoroughly in another bowl. Place the fruits in a flat oven-proof shallow glass tray. Spread the dry mixture over it to completely cover it. Bake in the oven at 200 ºC for 40 minutes until the fruits start bubbling.


It can be served without cooking, as a raw dessert.
