Garden Fresh Tapas


  • 2 small firm tomatoes, cut into halves
  • 8 pieces of half inch cucumber
  • ½ cup mung sprouts
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp of shredded ginger
  • a few drops of lemon
  • 2 tbsp of sour cream cheese for filling
  • 1 tsp of mint coriander, chopped


Scoop out the tomatoes with knife. Do the same with the cucumber. Heat a pan. Add cumin seeds. Now add sprouts, salt, ginger, black pepper and 1 tbsp water. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from flame. Add a few drops of lemon juice and cream cheese. Fill tomatoes and cucumbers with this filling. Now serve in a nice dish. Looks very decorative.
