Moong Chaat

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sprouted moong beans
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1 potato, steamed and cubed
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • Red chilli powder to taste
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • Dry mango powder (amchur) to taste
  • Chaat masala to taste
  • 1 onion (optional), finely chopped

Method

Steam the moong beans with some turmeric for about 5 minutes. Add in the rest of the ingredients, mix with a spoon and serve.

Serves 3 – 4
