Roast sesame seeds on low heat, until the popping stops. Do not let the seeds burn. The slower you roast them, the better they will be. Place them in the grinder, up to a height of 1 inch. Grind until it turns to butter. If it is not evenly crushed, stir and grind again
Use the sesame seeds without roasting them. Being raw, this is healthier than the roasted version, and some people like it as much. A similar butter may be made with sunflower seeds.
Make Gomasio at the same time as making sesame butter.
