Dry roast the sesame in a frying pan or tawa on medium-slow fire so as not to burn. It can take 10-15 mins. Making large batches and storing it is advisable as otherwise, it’s not quick. When completely cooled, grind the sesame coarsely together with some salt to taste. Use the “pulse” function so as not to completely powder it. Gomasio is ready!
