Tofu Mayonnaise

This recipe uses no oil and no eggs. It has zero cholesterol and is high in taste.


  • 100 g tofu (½ a packet silken tofu)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ½ a medium-sized onion
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp tahini (sesame butter)
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp unrefined salt
  • 1 tsp mustard or ½ tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tsp date paste
  • Soy milk if needed
  •  if needed


Mix together all the ingredients (except tofu) in a blender. When blended, add tofu and blend again. Taste. Add more lemon or salt if needed and stir. If it is too thick, add 1-3 tsp of soy milk. Store in the refrigerator for no more than a week.
