- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 5 red chili
- 1/2 inch piece ginger
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1.5 tsp ajwain
- 1 tbsp tahini/sesame butter
- 1 & 1/4 tsp salt (adjust as per your taste)
Grind ginger, garlic and red chilies with enough water, until smooth. In a mixing bowl, mix flour, salt and ajwain and add this ground chili mix. Add 1 tbsp tahini and enough water to mix to a stiff dough. Keep aside for at least 1/2 hour.
Again knead the dough after setting time and divide into equal balls. Roll them like thin chapati and cut first into strips and then diagonally to make diamonds using a knife/pizza cutter. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C for 10 mins and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Arrange the diamond cut pieces on the baking tray in a single layer and bake for 7-8 minutes depending on your oven. Store in an airtight container.
