Pumpkin Porridge


  • ½ kg old dark yellow pumpkin (unpeeled)
  • 5 g brown rice powder, mixed with 1 cup water (optional)
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • ⅛ tsp cinnamon (or less)
  • ⅛ tsp unrefined salt
  • Date paste to taste


Cut the pumpkin into small pieces, steam and mash (do not peel). Boil the mashed pumpkin along with the coconut milk, salt, cinnamon, date paste and the rice paste if you are adding it. Serve hot or cold.
