Baked Wheat And Rice Chaklis


  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup brown rice flour
  • ¼ tsp ajwain
  • ¼ cup sesame seed paste
  • 2 tbsp peanut and rice curd
  • 1 tbsp ginger-chili paste
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • pinch of turmeric powder
  • lime juice as per taste
  • chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp salt


Mix all the dry ingredients together. Add peanut, rice curd and hot water to make a soft dough. Use a chakli maker to make chakli.

Bake in oven at 200˚C till crisp (it takes around 20-25 minutes). Yummy baked chaklis are ready to eat.
