Fig Spread


  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 50 gm cashews
  • 100 gm almonds
  • 100 gm dried figs
  • 50 gm dates


Soak cashews, almonds, figs and dates a night before in water. Strain off the water from soaking, but don’t throw the water away. In a blender puree all the ingredients with a teaspoon of cinnamon. Add more of the water if you like a thinner consistency. Serve on bread or over fruit.
