Peas Spread


  • 2 cups steamed green peas
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • Unrefined salt to taste
  • Ground pepper to taste


Brown the onions and garlic in a heated pan. Blend all the ingredients together to a thick paste. Add water if needed. Serve on toast, with a dash of lemon juice on top.


Vegetables can be made into great spreads. For added thickness, tofu can be mixed in.
