Mixed Vegetable Sabzi


  • 1 cup potato, chopped into 1 cm pieces
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped into 1 cm pieces
  • 1 cup cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup peas
  • ½ cup tomato puree
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp ginger-green chili paste
  • ¼ turmeric
  • salt to taste
  • ½ tsp amchur powder
  • ½ tsp jeera
  • ¼ tsp garam masala


Cut all the above vegetables in to small pieces and steam them.

Heat a pan. Roast the jeera, then turn off the flame and add dry spices. Roast the spices and add ginger chili paste and the tomato paste. Now add the steamed vegetables. Cook for a few minutes to let the vegetables absorb the flavours. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
