Pudina (Mint) Chutney


  • 50 g fresh coriander leaves (dhania)
  • 25 g mint leaves (pudina)
  • 15 g roasted split Bengal gram (dalia)
  • 2 green chillies
  • ½” pc ginger
  • ½ a raw mango/lime or extract of a marble-sized ball of tamarind (imli)
  • Unrefined salt to taste
  • Date paste to taste


Wash and chop coriander, mint, green chillies and ginger. Add the rest of the ingredients. Grind in a blender/chutney grinder, until fine. Add a little water if required. Serve with chaat, parathas, idlis, dosa, vegan omelette, etc.
