Brown Rice Parsi Style

  • 1 cup brown rice, cooked with 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp water
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • Unrefined salt to taste
  • A few raisins


In a saucepan, heat 1 teaspoon water and add the cinnamon and nutmeg to it. Add raisins, salt and add this to the rice. Mix well so all the rice is flavoured. Serve with spicy dhansak dal.
