Heal Patients through Whole Food Plant-Based Nutrition

This intensive workshop is specially designed for Doctors, Dieticians, and Nutritionists who wish to integrate plant-based nutrition into their clinical practice and help patients prevent and reverse lifestyle diseases.

SHARAN has been a pioneer in whole food plant-based nutrition in India for over 20 years, with deep experience in consultations, lifestyle interventions, and patient outcomes.

This training is limited to 12 participants to ensure personal attention and depth of learning.

What You Will Learn
The program provides:

• A structured format for conducting in-depth patient consultations
• Skills to understand patient needs holistically
• Practical tools to create comprehensive nutrition-based care plans
• Hands-on case studies (medical and nutritional)
• Guidance on reducing medications where medically feasible
• Soft skills, deep listening, and effective follow-up strategies
• Option to apply as a SHARAN consultant after successful completion*

*Note: Acceptance into the SHARAN team is not guaranteed. Currently, SHARAN may add doctors to the team but does not have openings for additional nutritionists.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet all of the following:

1. Qualification
   • Registered medical practitioner, registered dietician/nutritionist, or
   • Holder of recognised qualifications in plant-based nutrition
2. Knowledge of SHARAN Nutrition Principles
   Through SHARAN online programs, Dr. Nandita Shah’s book, YouTube channel, website, etc.
3. Personal Practice
   You must personally follow a whole food plant-based diet.
4. Cooking Knowledge
   Reasonable understanding of healthy cooking to guide patients.

Training Schedule (11 Half-Day Sessions)
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM IST (may extend by 30 minutes if needed)
Homework: Minimum 2 hours daily
