Masala Papad

Your cravings for some ‘chatpata’ can be satisfied with healthy and simple recipes like this one. You could even use an oil-free khakhra as a base and top it with chutneys of your choice. It’s truly easy to be healthy, once you put your mind to it! Ingredients:

  • Urad/ragi/ moong dal papad
  • Green chillies, finely chopped
  • Spring onions, finely chopped
  • Tomatoes, finely chopped
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • Fresh lemon or lime

Method:

Roast an assorted variety of urad, ragi or moong dal papads on an open flame and place on a tray. Sprinkle with onions, tomatoes, green chillies, coriander and squeeze lime juice on top. Serve as a snack.

Variations

You may add different vegetables like colourful peppers, grated carrots, beetroot, etc.
