Nutrition is the key to surviving COVID -19 (Free talk)

Category:

Description

Nutrition is key to surviving COVID-19. Hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, and obesity are underlying conditions that often determine, in the face of the coronavirus, who lives and who dies.

SHARAN is glad to host Dr. Neal Barnard, president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, USA, who will describe how foods can help tackle these conditions, dramatically improving health.

Dr. Barnard will also address the connections between food and a surprising range of health problems: infertility, weight gain, breast and prostate cancer, thyroid problems, low moods, and hot flashes. All of these conditions have one thing in common: they are fueled by hormones that are hiding in foods or are influenced in various ways by the foods we eat.

Dr. Barnard will present practical tips for getting back in balance and rejuvenating your health.

When: Friday 19th June
Time: 8 pm IST, 10.30 am EST, 6.30 pm UAE, 3.30 pm UK, 10.30 pm Singapore
