Nut-free cheese
Consuming dairy is affecting the planet in a big way. When we can enjoy recipes by using alternatives for dairy then why cause any harm to the cows, our health and the planet? Try this super easy, healthy and yummy nut-free cheese, filled with the goodness of vegetables. It can be used as a dip or a salad dressing too.
Ingredients
- 2 cups steamed and diced unpeeled potatoes
- 1 cup steamed and diced unpeeled carrot
- ½ cup water
- 2 tsp unrefined salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ cup nutritional yeast
- ¼ cup onion powder
- ¼ cup garlic powder
- ¼ tsp mustard (rai) powder
Method
Blend all the ingredients together to a smooth, creamy paste. Store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
