I was diabetic for 18 years. Two years ago, I attended Dr Nandita’s ‘Reversing Diabetes and Hypertension’ workshop. In no time, I made the shift and over a period of time with the help of consultations, I even stopped my medicines for both diabetes and blood pressure. My joy knew no bounds! I lost 10 kgs and my leg cramps just vanished. Today, I feel young and energetic like a 30-year-old and have also become very calm and tolerant.
In 2020, I visited the US to help with the delivery of my fourth grandchild. We decided to have a small intimate baby shower with just 9 adults and 5 children. This was the peak time for Covid in the US. After two days, all the adults except me started having symptoms of Covid and tested positive. I attribute myself not getting Covid totally to the diet and the lifestyle changes I had consciously made. I could really breeze through all my responsibilities without getting tired. In fact, I helped get them all back to normal health by giving them raw vegetables and fruits, smoothies, soups, and whole grains. My friends and relatives are really amazed at my transformation. And my entire family has been inspired by this lifestyle.
Even in the current situation, I am doing totally fine. I strongly believe that going whole food plant-based is the best way to build one’s immunity.
