Cooking can keep you fit too. First of all you are standing, moving and doing things. Bending down or stretching to get something from a shelf is exercise too! Kneading the dough is exercise for your fingers too. And you can also make shopping and washing up after a meal part of your routine. But most importantly when you cook for yourself you actually know what goes into the food. And it can be a lot of fun too! Let’s hear from Sandhyaashree who learnt this through experience.
One of our team members had never cooked in her life. But she had to change that for the sake of her husband’s health. Now she loves it so much! She now cooks all the meals herself and has noticed a big difference in both her and her husband’s health.
