Shobha Swamy is passionate about health, wellness, and empowering others to take charge of their wellbeing. After a successful 25-year career in Automotive Engineering, she discovered the power of food in regaining vibrant health and transitioned into the field of nutrition and lifestyle education.
Shobha is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition through the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell University and is a certified Food for Life instructor with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM). She has also served as a plant-based cooking instructor for Dr. Jennifer Rooke’s 12-Week Lifestyle Intervention program at Morehouse School of Medicine.
She actively promotes the adoption of minimally processed, nutrient-dense, plant-based diets and takes a holistic approach to nutrition, wellbeing, and lasting lifestyle change. Shobha believes health is largely within our control and advocates for preventing and reversing chronic diseases through simple, accessible dietary choices rather than accepting hereditary outcomes. She is also ServSafe certified in food preparation.
In addition to her work in nutrition, Shobha is a certified Yoga and Meditation Instructor, offering classes from her home in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Shobha lives in Alpharetta with her husband and is the proud mother of two grown daughters.
She is available for speaking engagements, plant-based nutrition classes, and cooking demonstrations through SHARAN.
