Shalini Goenka is a certified Yoga Instructor from the Yoga Institute and Mumbai University, an ACSM certified Health Coach and Diabetic Educator.
She has been conducting yoga classes and doing nutritional consultations since 2010.
Shalini does nutritional consultations at SHARAN and also conducts yoga workshops, talks, seminars and cooking classes.
After losing her voice in 2005 due to ulcers, Shalini was looking for a holistic approach to take charge of her life. That’s when her health journey started. Her battle with IBS and asthma took a 180 degree turn when she adopted a whole food plant-based diet. She turned to veganism for health reasons, read about this philosophy and its connection to animals and the environment.
In November 2017 she attended Dr Nandita Shah’s seminar and decided that whole plant-based nutrition was something she had always been looking for, and started working with SHARAN since the beginning of 2018. Since then, she has been helping clients reach their optimum health potential.
Shalini is passionate about health and fitness and regularly participates in marathons.
