Did you know that sitting too much is a new disease!

  • Did you know that people who sit for more than 23 hours/week are at an increased risk of heart disease?
  • Did you know that when your body is sedentary for very long, the brain slows down because of lesser supply of fresh blood and oxygen?
  • Take a few minutes and analyse how much time in your waking hours do you spend sitting? It is a lot isn’t it, especially now that we are most of time in front of our screens – mobile, laptop or television!
  • Also this is very important – Did you know that an hour of daily exercise is not enough to fight the ill-effects of sitting all day?
