Red Chilli-Garlic Chutney (Thecha)
- ¾ cup broken dry red chillies
- 100 g garlic
- 2 tbsp roasted Bengal gram (chana dal)
- 1 – 2 tsp lemon juice (optional)
- Unrefined salt to taste
- 2 – 3 tbsp water
Combine all the ingredients together and grind to a smooth paste in a blender or a stone grinder.
Refrigerate and use as required.
