Palak Soup


  • 2 bunches palak (spinach)
  • 1/2 cup steamed onion and cashew paste
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
  • green chili paste
  • black salt
  • 2 tbsp soy yogurt
  • lemon (optional)


Heat the onion cashew paste for 5 minutes, stirring continuously. Add the chopped tomatoes and the palak. Let the palak cook till it is well done. Add the soy yogurt, black salt and the green chili paste. Add water to make thickness of your choice. Let it boil for few minutes. Add lemon to taste, if desired.
