Oat Milk


  • 1 cup steel cut or rolled oats
  • 4 cups water
  • ¼ tsp unrefined salt
  • ⅛ tsp cinnamon powder (optional)


Soak the oats in drinking water for at least 2 hours. Drain and rinse the oats. Add them to a blender and add 1 cup of water. Blend until you obtain a smooth paste – this will take 3-5 minutes. Add the rest of the water, salt, cinnamon powder (optional) and blend well. Store in a glass bottle.

Yields 1 litre
