Ladies Finger Chutney


  • 500 g ladies’ finger (bhindi)
  • 1 mature fresh coconut, grated
  • 5 green chillies
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 lemon-sized ball of tamarind
  • Unrefined salt to taste


In a kadhai, roast the ladies finger without oil, until it is dry. Roast the coconut. Roast the green chillies and garlic. Grind together along with tamarind pulp and salt.
