- ¼ cup pine nuts/walnuts
- ¼ cup cashew nuts
- 2 – 3 cloves garlic
- 1 cup tightly packed fresh basil leaves
- ½ tsp unrefined salt
- 3 – 4 tbsp water
In a blender, blend all the ingredients together to a smooth paste.
You may substitute some of the nuts with tofu or cooked chickpeas, in order to reduce the quantity of nuts.
