Green Beans With Almonds

Ingredients

  • ½ kg long green beans, each cut across in half
  • 30 g almonds, finely sliced
  • ½ tsp thyme/oregano
  • 6-8 cloves garlic, minced
  • Unrefined salt and pepper to taste

Method

Heat the thyme in a large frying pan. Add the garlic and almonds and sauté for 2 minutes then toss in the green beans. Add salt and a little water. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and sprinkle pepper.

Serves 4-6
