Green Beans With Almonds

Ingredients
- ½ kg of long green beans, sliced in halves
- 6-8 cloves of garlic, minced
- ½ tsp thyme/oregano
- salt, pepper to taste
- 30 gms almonds, finely sliced
Method
Heat the thyme in a large fry pan. Add the garlic and almonds and sauté for 2 minutes then toss in the green beans, add salt. Add a little water. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from flame and sprinkle pepper.
Serves 4-6
