Basic Pie Crust


  • 1 cup pitted dark dates
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • ½ cup almonds


Process in a food processor all the ingredients, and roll into laddoos or flatten on a tray to make pie crust.

This crust can be eaten raw as well as baked in a preheated oven for 180C for about 10-12 minutes.

The crust can be used as a base for cheese cake, raw cakes, halwa squares or other desserts.
