Corn Bhel

Ingredients

  • ½ cup steamed American corn kernels
  • ⅓ cup finely chopped onions
  • ¼ cup finely chopped steamed potatoes
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum
  • ⅓ cup chopped cucumber
  • ¼ cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • ½ tbsp date – tamarind chutney 
  • ½ tbsp spicy chutney (made of mint, green chillies, lime juice, salt and roasted split Bengal gram (chana dal))
  • ⅛ tsp roasted cumin (jeera) seeds
  • Unrefined salt to taste
  • Chopped fresh coriander leaves, for the garnish

Method

According to taste, mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Garnish just before serving.
