Vasanti Sundaram is a writer and editor based in Bangalore. She moved recently from Dubai after three decades in print, broadcast media and corporate PR.
The official compere of the Consulate General of India in Dubai during India’s year-long golden jubilee celebrations, Vasanti has hosted talk shows on Asianet TV and Ajman TV. In addition to her weekly column in national newspapers Khaleej Times and Gulf News, she served as a newscaster on UAE Radio 4 FM. She is the author of Footprints: Memoirs of an Indian Patriarch, the biography of a business leader who arrived in Dubai from undivided India in the 1940s, and was a confidant of the emirate’s first ruler.
Vasanti’s journey with SHARAN began during her search for solutions to her diabetes and thyroid conditions. Given her life-altering experience, she has taken it upon herself to spread the SHARAN word as her way of giving back to society.
