Rithika Ramesh

Rithika turned vegan in early 2009 after attending a workshop by Dr Nandita Shah called ‘Peas vs Pills’. She then decided to switch gears from a career in film making and went on to start India’s first fully vegan bakery, The Green Stove, which she ran successfully for 8 years. In the meantime, Rithika had two kids (two fully vegan pregnancies and two gentle water births), adopted a dog and also got certified as a Plant Based Nutritionist from ECornell.

With a keen interest in research and with all her varied past experiences, Rithika is now a Vegan and Plant-based Consultant who hopes to bust more myths and get people to eat more plants for the sake of the animals.
