Dr Sudhir Sethi

Dr. Sudhir Sethi is a Consultant Paediatrician (Child specialist) practising for almost 30 years. He completed his MBBS at JIPMER, Pondicherry and his MD Paediatrics at Grant Medical College, JJ Hospital, Mumbai.

He has been practising as a Paediatrician in the UK since 1992 and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. He also has a Master of Public Health from the University of Nottingham and is a recognised Consultant for the WHO IMCI programme since 1999. He has been involved in humanitarian aid projects in Bosnia and Nepal and has regularly contributed to the UN Committee meetings in Geneva on the Rights of the Child.

As a Paediatrician, he has seen multiple diseases in his clinics like Obesity, Type 2 diabetes and its related complications many of which are preventable and reversible. He believes that every individual should have knowledge about prevention and how to treat lifestyle disorders in the most simple, natural and compassionate way.

He completed SHARAN’s consultation training in December 2019 and continues to be inspired by Dr. Nandita Shah’s vision of a Diabetes free India. With a tsunami of Asian diabetics living in the UK, India and elsewhere and having seen several reversals first hand he has decided to focus on this line of work.

Currently he is working towards an Accreditation in Life Style Medicine. He believes in the philosophy of SHARAN, that given a chance ‘Nature has enormous power to heal’ and believes in nature’s wisdom, abundance, and having a simple lifestyle.
