SHARAN Library Books
Most of these books come from abroad and are expensive. In order to make sure we do not lose any books we are asking for a deposit of Rs 2000 + Rs 500 towards courier charges if applicable. Ashish will keep track of the payments and when the Rs 500 is used up you will be asked for another payment. The deposit of Rs 2000 is returnable to you at any time you would like to close your account. Please make out cheques in the name of SHARAN. We will provide you with receipts.
At the moment Ashish Mehta has offered his services so there is no cost of running the library. In case the usage and number of books increases, there may be a small charge incurred for running the library but this is not envisaged at least for the first year. Presently, you will not be charged anything for reading the books as long as you return them in time. The period for keeping the books is one month. You may borrow 2 books at a time. Please return the books as soon as possible so that others may read the books as well.
In case you want to renew a book, please let Ashish Mehta know, and you may do so provided no one else is waiting for the same book.
Books can be couriered to you. You will bear the courier charges of the books both to and fro.
In case a book is not returned on time you will receive a notice by phone or email. Despite this if the book is still not returned quickly, a new one of the same title will be ordered and the money will be deducted from your deposit.
To request a book please SMS or your request to Ashish Mehta (0)99677 23000 or by email to ashishcm2@yahoo.com adding your name to the message.
