Whole Wheat Pizza with Vegan Cheese
Ingredients
For the Dough
- 1 cup atta/ Wheat flour
- 1 tsp dry yeast
- ½ cup of warm water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- pinch of salt
- mature vegan cheese
- fresh tomatoes puree
- thinly diced vegetables - capsicums, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, mushrooms etc.
- olives - optional
- jalapeño - optional
- basil leaves
- gomasio sesame powder - optional
Method
Mix dry yeast with little warm and let it rise. You can add a little sugar to help it rise.
Mix the bubbled yeast with the wheat flour, olive oil, salt , add some water and knead well. The dough should not stick to the vessel you are mixing in - add a little more flour if it's sticking or add a little water if its dry.
Keep the dough in a warm place and let it rise to double its size. Spread the raised dough thinly onto a lightly grease baking pan. Spread 2 tbsp of puree tomatoes sauce on top of pizza dough.
Add whole or diced basil leaves on top of tomatoes puree followed by a little cheese spread. Then add desired vegetables & toppings.
Lastly, finished topping with more cheese spread.
Put it into oven at 375 F or 180 degree Celsius for 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
