Broccoli in Thai Curry Paste

Ingredients



  • 1 head broccoli

  • 250gm firm tofu

  • 1 tbsp red thai curry paste

  • 1 tbsp date syrup/maple/agave syrup

  • 3 tbsp soya sauce

  • grated zest from 2 lime

  • Method


    Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces and steam the broccoli until al dente.
    Cut tofu into medium sized cubes.
    Mix all other ingredients together to make a sauce. divide this sauce into two parts.
    Mix tofu with one part of the sauce and allow to marinate. Mix the broccoli with the other part & allow to marinate. Put the tofu on aluminum-foil-lined sheet pan. Broil each of the six sides for one minute each, turning after each minute.
    Saute the broccoli gently. Add to the tofu toss & serve warm.
