Green Rice

  • 1 bunch of coriander leaves
  • ¼ tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ lemon juice
  • Salt
  • ¼ cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup whole rice

Wash and soak the whole brown rice for about 2 hours in 2½ cups water. Cook the rice.

Make a chutney in the grinder with all the other ingredients except the onions.

Brown the onions with very little or without oil. Add the chutney and roast. Mix it with the cooked rice and serve. Garnish with grated coconut.
