Green Beans with Almonds
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg of long green beans, sliced in halves and steamed
- 6 - 8 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp thyme / oregano
- salt & pepper to taste
- 30g almonds, finely sliced
- 30ml olive oil
Method
Heat the oil and thyme in a large fry pan. Add the garlic and sauté for 2 minutes then toss through the green beans. Add remaining ingredients and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
