Green Beans with Almonds

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg of long green beans, sliced in halves and steamed
  • 6 - 8 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp thyme / oregano
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 30g almonds, finely sliced
  • 30ml olive oil
    • Method

      Heat the oil and thyme in a large fry pan. Add the garlic and sauté for 2 minutes then toss through the green beans. Add remaining ingredients and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
