Herbal Tea
Ingredients
- mint leaves
- grated ginger
- crushed whole pepper
- lemon grass
- kaakvi/jaggery Syrup (optional)
Method
Take some water in a pan and add the above fresh ingredients. Take enough of each ingredient so that it lends its flavor. The quantity of the ingredients can vary according to taste. Bring the water to boil. Strain and serve. Jaggery syrup or Kaakvi can be added as a natural sweetener.
Tip
Choose organic fruits where possible, or local ‘desi' variety of fruits grown with as less pesticide as possible. Food grown locally will be fresher, cheaper and more delicious.
