Cracked Wheat Porridge with Coconut Milk & Ginger
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp cracked wheat flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp jaggery powder
- 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
- ½ cup coconut milk
Method
Mix the cracked wheat and water till there are no lumps and cook for about 5 minutes on a medium flame till the cracked wheat is cooked. Stir briskly all the while. Add jaggery and ginger and turn off the flame. Top with coconut milk and serve. Serves one.Variations
Replace cracked wheat with ragi.Replace ginger with cinnamon & cardamom.
Replace coconut milk with soya, nut or rice milk.
