Vegan Festival at Taj West End Bangalore

The Taj West End in Bangalore recently held a Vegan Festival at their Mynt restaurant from 20 to 28 June 2008. This excellent initiative reveals the increasing popularity of veganism and the eagerness of restaurants and hotels to cater to their vegan clients while introducing the infinite and appetizing possibilities of a vegan menu to others.

Though this is the first time the Taj West End is holding a Vegan Festival (and probably the first time a 5-star has taken such an initiative), they have held other animal-friendly events in the past like vegetarian cooking demonstrations with the proceeds donated to animal shelters.

The Taj West End's Vegan Festival has further enhanced the hotel's vegetarian and vegan friendly image. This will hopefully encourage others to follow their example. We look forward to the next Vegan Festival!
