Peas Vs Pills in Auroville

This year 6 Peas Vs Pills were conducted in Auroville, every alternate weekend from mid Dec to end February. Judging from the numbers that attended and the numbers inspired to try vegan it was a huge success. Each workshop averaged 40 to 50 attendees except the last one, which was with French translations where we had 18 participants.

We had a wonderful team in the kitchen including Sarbani, Franca, Martina, Manfred and Heidi, and Angela from last year as well as Pierre who was new to the team this year. Mona, Tiffany and Nick offered their help after doing the workshop. And Nick and Tiffany are also helping with the French translations and Organic farming website material which should come up soon.

Daniel, from Auroville Radio came to do an excellent recording of an entire workshop and this will also be available now to people who would like to listen to the workshop again. Sam was a part of Daniel's team and he video recorded the whole workshop. The audio recording is now available. Soon we will have a video of the workshop that participants can refer to. We are really excited and encouraged.

A team from a French journal also came and took notes and photographs about the workshop and we hope they too will help popularize the healthy and compassionate way of living through their journalism!
