News from Mumbai vegans
In Mumbai we have a good group forming and we hope to have lots of things happening. The most important things are:
1. Monthly Vegan Potlucks. People who have participated in the past Peas vs Pills workshops will always be invited to these. You will get a notice by email and SMS. In case you are not receiving this information, it means we are not updated with your contact details. Please do let us know them. You may invite your family and friends to the potluck. Past participants are expected to bring a HEALTHY VEGAN dish to share with the others. Everyone eats together between 1 - 2 pm and then there will be an introduction round, a movie about health and food and a short discussion. If you have done the workshop anywhere in the world you are welcome to join us for this event.
2. Doctors to monitor your results. There are 3 medical doctors who have done the workshop and are following this method and have found excellent results on themselves. They would like to help you in any way they can to go a step further and they are also willing to monitor you and help you reduce your dependence on medications by checking your reports and your health. They are: Dr Rupa Shah, MBBS (photo left) who is working as a holistic practitioner. Her practice is in Khar (W) very close to the railway station. You can make an appointment with her at 26463232, 26486819. Dr Neeta Dharamsey, DHMS who is a homeopath. Her practice is at Masjid Bundar She has used this method for a long time on herself and her family members. You can make an appointment by calling 23454030 clinic, or 26735107 residence or 9967256675. Dr Shanta Venkat MD will soon be seeing patients for this as well.

4. Mr Janadhan Seksaria who has done the Peas vs Pills workshop is keen to help and has offered to fund a health library. The first set of books have arrived and the library will probably be functional by August. Titles will be sent to all Mumbai workshop participants so that you can decide if you want to borrow some books.
